I was a typical boyish teenager. T-shirt, jeans, and sneakers were my everyday style. Boy walk and posture was my thing. I was very comfortable in my way of living. However, being in JRP made me start being conscious about my appearance. This was the start of my pre-adult years. The whole world might not accept me in my style if I were to be in the business world. JRP helped me realize these things. Dressing appropriately for specific occasions and presenting myself with dignity are the things JRP taught me so much.

Malayan High School of Science Personality Development Program Level III student

Enrolling in JRP helped me a lot in attaining my goals as a college student. After completing my program, I realized that I am definitely going to miss a lot if I am not going to step out of my box. I learned that I should do things my way to be able to enjoy the things that I do.

LPU Manila PD Level I

Before entering John Robert Powers, I know for sure that I was a scared girl. I was scared of the meaning of life and the things people expect me to be / do. I was so scared all the time that I’d constantly get anxiety attacks at least 6x a week, even for the pettiest reasons. My self-esteem was so low because of this that is why my mother persuaded me to join this program. Now, I am thankful for the people I’ve met and for the experiences I had. After entering JRP, I can say that I am more open to opportunities given to me and that I am aware of what I want and what I want to achieve in life.

Sofia Trisha Ngo, 15

Immaculate Conception Academy Grade II

As an individual, I have always yearned for self-improvement. I do not dream about success and having great amount of money but rather I dream about growth. When my mother told me about John Robert Powers and what they do there, I wanted to enroll myself. Hence, one Wednesday morning, I had my first session in JRP. It was an amazing opportunity. I was lucky enough to have experienced it. In the succeeding sessions, different certified instructors and coaches shared tips and knowledge on the four pillars of the JRP Personality Development Program. The sessions opened my eyes to what each pillar really means and how important each one is. As I end my first experience in JRP, I am filled with new practices that I can change into good habits, which will then hopefully lead me to the best version of myself.

John Robert Powers has helped me grow as a person and realize my weaknesses and strengths. I’ve learned so much in only 2 weeks and I’ve been very satisfied with it. I thoroughly enjoyed my time here at JRP and I will definitely use and apply what I’ve learned here starting today.

Bettina Marie A. Calaquian, 13

PD Level I (Teens) Poveda Grade 9 Student

Before I enrolled in JRP, I was painfully shy. It was very difficult for me to talk to people that I didn’t know or could relate to. I also wasn’t aware of the mannerisms and gestures that didn’t help project a good image of myself. After I finished my program, I found it a lot easier to talk to other people, I am not as shy as I was before and I am now fully aware of the things that I can do to improve myself as a person. I am much happier now than I used to be before I enrolled in JRP.

John Robert Powers contributed to my way of life since it helped me improve in all aspects of my life. It really helped me develop my personality. I gained more friends the past months and became close with them. During presentations, I can now speak more fluently. I learned how to dress appropriately according to the occasion, my body type, skin tone, etc. Lastly, I now voice out and express myself effectively, both online and in the real world.

John Robert Powers has changed my life in a big way. I am now more knowledgeable, more confident, and happier. I came here expecting nothing and I ended up finding new awesome friends and a new perspective. My old friends told me that I had a huge character development and that they are very proud of me. I will use what I have learned in JRP in my lifetime. This has been the best and most life changing experience I ever had.
