Year after year, John Robert Powers (JRP) is honored to partner with Mr. & Ms. Chinatown, a prestigious pageant celebrating the vibrancy and dynamism of the Filipino-Chinese community. This event not only showcases the talents and beauty of its contestants but also serves as a platform to highlight cultural heritage and community pride.
In preparation for the highly anticipated event in October 2023, JRP has been actively involved in providing comprehensive coaching and training sessions tailored to the contestants’ needs. Our training focuses on key areas such as self-presentation, communication skills, public speaking, and overall stage presence. Each session is designed to instill confidence and poise, essential qualities for success in pageantry and beyond.
The coaching process involves a variety of interactive exercises and personalized feedback. Contestants engage in mock interviews to enhance their communication skills, learning how to articulate their thoughts effectively and connect with the audience. Additionally, we focus on body language and posture, helping them develop a commanding stage presence that captivates both judges and spectators.
The ultimate goal of our training is to empower these talented young individuals to project their best selves in any scenario, whether on stage or in everyday situations. We believe that the skills they acquire through this program will serve them well beyond the pageant, enhancing their personal and professional lives.
